RootsMe Berlin: Dance with Me

A presence that is felt constantly in Berlin Kreuzberg is a revolutionary feeling, the struggle for freedom and the desire to live together peacefully.
This work comes from observation, which led to a series of questions. Can art (dance) break down the walls that divide us?
During moments of celebration it seems like it can. But what if we took dance into everyday life, for example asking people to dance in the street while going to work, to the grocery store, on a date, etc.?

RootsMe Berlin: In the middle of Kreuzberg | The point of view #2

This work, shot in Kreuzberg, one of the most populated, multicultural and distinctive districts of Berlin, aims at grasping what characterizes it.
In this second part the focus is on the woman looking at the neighbourhood from various angles, relating herself, through her dance, with the space she meets, thus establishing a connection game between space, time, body.

RootsMe Berlin: Osmosis

A thin membrane is the one which separates man from the place he lives in.
A constant interchange occurs between an individual and the city he inhabits.
Is it man to give identity to the environment in which he breathes or is it the contrary?
‘Osmosis’ talks about the spontaneous and continuous exchange in which human beings and places mutually define themselves. Their being liquid and mutable makes the poetry in them diluted, an unstable core which passes from one to the other in a both incessant and essential process.

È l’uomo a dare identità all’ambiente in cui respira o viceversa?
